If you are running on a bad battery it will not supply enough voltage to keep running. If the charging system is not working then it will drain the battery. You can check the charging system with engine running with volt meter on battery and should read 13 to 14.6 volts. If you are running the Pto then it will really pull the volts harder and drain battery faster if not charging or bad battery.
