Welcome to JUST ANSWER small engines, let me try to help you !! Seat switch has gray and black wires, just put the two together to bypass the seat switch. Seat switch or the brake switch can cause starter not to engage. You say battery check was good? What is battery voltage? above 12.5 volts?
