Welcome to JUST ANSWER small engines, let me try to help you !! Can you explain??? Do you have another question with another login?
Customer: replied 2 years ago.
I have an Ariens riding lawn mower that I had bought from Home Depot.
17.5 Briggs and Stratten "Power Built" engine. 500cc
When traveling forward, and the mower tilts right, the mower dies.
Expert:  Curtis B. replied 2 years ago.
How much tilt is there? If you mow in opposite direction, does it keep running? On the carburetor is an electric solenoid, is the wire to it tight? May be loosing connection and killing the fuel to the engine. If mower runs when going in opposite slope direction, the float in the carburetor may be problem and is not keeping fuel level up.

On level ground, or if I go in the opposite direction, tilt to the left, It runs fine.
Expert:  Curtis B. replied 2 years ago.
Did you check the wire to the fuel solenoid? If it is tight, then the problem is the carburetor float.
