Welcome to JUST ANSWER small engines, let me try to help you !! The model number is###-##-#### Is this the transmission drive belt? Is that what you call the pump? With belt in place, is it tight? There is a tension spring and idler assembly that have to tighten the belt. If the spring is off or broken, or the idler is stuck, the belt will be too loose and will come off. Do you have the owners manual showing the belt diagram? Is it installed right, with the belt guards close to the pulleys to keep belt in place?
