Welcome to JUST ANSWER small engines, let me try to help you !! Seat switch has two sets of contacts, and four wires, one set is N/O and the other is N/C. One is for start circuit, the other is for the run circuit. The seat switch, brake switch and the arm switches all have to work together. Do you have a volt/ohm meter to check the seat switch? The interlock is where all these come together. The seat switch is the one that gives the most problems, it and it's harness. The owners manual has the wiring schematic on page 52 if you have the manual. Here is a link to it, left click on the link to highlite it , then right click to access. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------http://www.scag.com/OpManuals/FreedomZ/2008SFZOPMAN/2008SFZ_OpMan03240.pdf

Didn't work. All of the connections seem good. I used an ohm meter to check continuity.

Are you getting voltage to the starter solenoids switch terminal when you turn key to start? If you are , the solenoid may be bad.??
