Customer Question

We have an Onan 5000 emerald generator in our motor home. It was running perfectly and then just stopped. It makes a rapid succession clicking that sounds like it's coming from the front panel where the start switch is located but makes no attempt to crank. We replaced the batteries with new ones with no change. We aren't sure what to check next. Any help would be appreciated!!! Thanks, ***** *****

A rapid clicking sound is a sign that you are not getting enough voltage to the starter solenoid.
The batteries are weak, or you have them wired incorrectly, or you have a bad connection at one or more cables.
