Thanks Curtis . Yes, I hope so. I have a Gravely ZT FR921V

Customer Question

Thanks Curtis B. Yes, I hope so. I have a Gravely ZT FR921V with 24 Kawasaki engine. The engine starts normally, however, after a random period of time, the engine will die as if starved of fuel. I have replaced fuel filter and can see fuel in filter, as well air filter, plugs are new. oil recently changed and good. no leaks seen. Any thoughts?

What is fuel pump ? Pulse pump? electric pump? Is the fuel solenoid in the carburetor opening when engine is dying? It has to stay open, or engine starves for fuel.
Customer: replied 2 years ago.

fuel pump has round body and incoming fuel line hose, outgoing hose to carburetor and there is a third line coming to fuel pump from below which I believe to be wiring , so I think pump is electric

Expert:  Curtis B. replied 2 years ago.
Third line may be pulse line! Going to the crankcase or rocker cover. Check the electric solenoid in carburetor.

Thank you. What other causes should I consider?

Expert:  Curtis B. replied 2 years ago.
Lack of fuel has to be fuel supply or carburetor.
