# 22 is a circuit breaker. Deere uses circuit breaker in unit instead of a fuse. With circuit breaker tripping, it would indicate that you have a component shorting out and causing overload in the circuit.

Will it stall if blades are not engaged? Electric pto clutch can be going bad. or the voltage regulator can have bad recifier.

I can jump the engine but no starting until it sits

Engine dies and starter will not engage until it sits. With circuit breaker out of system, can't imagine what would do that.??

There is often a click that I can hear . It sound like a relay or some type of switch resetting. Is a switch in the voltage regulator?

Voltage regulator is solid state, and it should not kill engine.

Bypass the neutral switch and see if it does it.

L110 lawn tractor with Kohler engine. Initial issue: Mower would run for 20 minutes or so and then would lose power...stuttering until it shut down in 10-15 seconds. It would restart, but run only in choke mode. As soon as throtle lever was moved to run, it would die out as before. After a rest of several hours, it would start again and after 20 minutes would repeat the stall out. Now, it will crank, but not turn over...no ignition at all. Both the carburator and fuel pump were replaced...but no change at all. One last comment: I blew 2 or 3 fuses trying to start the engine after it stalled out during intial experiences.
