I have a Briggs and Stratton 875 Series 190CC engine (#12S507 0115 B1) with electric start option. The engine will start using the pull cord but not with the electric starter. I have replaced the spark plug, battery (it wouldn't hold a charge) and interlock switch, all to no avail. When I turn the key the bendix is spinning the flywheel and the engne turns over but something won't allow it to spark. What is my next step and how do I test the system to determine which part or component needs to be replaced? Thanks in advance
I would change the key switch it is not working on the ignition part.
