Hello and welcome to Just Answer,

 

Thank you for requesting me. The specs for the valves on your engine are .003" on the intake and .005" on the exhuast. To set the vavles you need to have the engine at 1/4" past TDC of the compression stroke. See attached link and scroll down to adjusting overhead valves.
