I have a old Kolher engine on a Case TL 100 trencher serial

Resolved Question:

I have a old Kolher engine on a Case TL 100 trencher serial # XXXXX it is a hand crank machine, probably a 10-16 hp engine. The hand recoil cranking housing that the rope goes in is broke inside. How can I fix it so I can crank it? Don't know how to find any parts for this engine, it has no data plate on it.

Do you pull a rope to start it or is it a lever that you crank by hand?
Expert:  J.R. replied 6 years ago.

Sorry about that I missed where you stated the rope housing. Here is one listed on ebay that fits the 10 - 16 hp kohler k series engines.

This is not the right one. it may be an 18 hp.

Is there some way of cranking it without the pull rope housing on it?
Expert:  J.R. replied 6 years ago.
Is it a single cylinder engine or twin? How many spark plugs? Can you post a picture of it? Cut a notch in the starter cup and wrap a rope around it
Customer: replied 6 years ago.
It is a single cylinder engine. I will try to get some pictures.

See attached link and see if any of these ones look like it. Let me see a picture of the starter assembly and a picture of the engine.
