You have one of a few possibilities.
1.The belt may have come off of one of the pulleys.
2. The battery may be too low to engage the Electric Clutch. Also check the battery cable connections for corrosion and clean if needed.
A battery problem will cause major trouble with the PTO. It takes an enormous amount of battery energy to run an electric clutch. So if your battery is low...or goes down, the pto cannot work.
If you bought a battery from a discount store. There is a good possibility that either the battery was bad right off the bat or that it didn't have the required 350 cca that is the minimum for an electric clutch to work correctly for any length of time.
If the battery keeps going down, you could also have a problem with the charging system. Just a note about charging systems in a lawn mower. YOU CANNOT EVER JUMP-START A LAWNMOWER WITH AN AUTOMOBILE OR YOU WILL RUIN THE CHARGING SYSTEM OF THE MOWER. THE SYSTEM OF THE CAR WILL BLOW THE MOWER'S CHARGING SYSTEM.They are not compatible.
You'd have to have the charging system in the mower checked.
3. The electric clutch has gone bad and will need replaced
4. The PTO switch may have gone bad and is not making good contact.
5. You may not have a good connection at the wires that connect to the PTO clutch.

Did you get my message?
1. The belts are fine and a belt being off would not prevent the PTO form engaging.
2. This unit only uses a battery w/190 CCA by factory specs, so what's with the reference to 350CCA? Are you sure you referenced my model?
ALL TRACTORS WITH ELECTRIC CLUTCHES SHOULD USE BATTIES WITH AT LEAST 350 CRANKING AMPS ! The reason that the factory spoecks are 190 amps is because they want to use cheap batteries and that is what they do. Anything less than 350 amps usually causes major problems with electric clutches.
The electric clutches use an enormous amount of energy to run them and the smaller batteries usually do not work well or at least for very long.
You are right the belts wioll not have anything to do with the electric clutch engagine, but many times customers think that the electric clutch is not working when in fact it is just a belt that has come off a pulley or has broken....so I always have you check the belts first.
