I have a Craftsman 4 Cycle gas trimmer, model is 316.796140.

Resolved Question:

I have a Craftsman 4 Cycle gas trimmer, model isNNN-NN-NNNN The fuel lines that come from the gas tank to the primer bulb are shot, do I just remove the old ones and plug new ones in their place? Do both lines go down inside the gas tank or just one of them?

Just replace the lines as they are now. Both lines go into the tank. One goes into the tank and attaches to the filter. The other goes into the tank and is the return line.

Sounds good, both lines are "submerged" in the tank when it is full. One attaches to a filter.

That is correct.
