My Poulan saw will run while cold but not while hot. It quits

This answer was rated:

My Poulan saw will run while cold but not while hot. It quits after running for a few minutes and can't be restarted until it cools. A carb kit was installed and fuel and spark checked. What could it be?
Hello, did you check for spark as soon as it quit and didn't restart?
Customer: replied 7 years ago.

No. I didn't check for spark as soon as it quit.

LATER: I took off black plastic cover and started it. It ran and ran. Didn't seem to want to quit. Finally did quit and spark was good. It then restarted and ran OK. I'll try again later.

Sometimes the wire going to the switch isn't routed properly and gets pinched when they put the engine cover on and would short out .
Customer: replied 7 years ago.
The wire seems OK. I'll leave the cover off next time to be sure.
Customer: replied 7 years ago.

You were correct about the spark quitting when it gets hot.

The wire seems OK. Would you suspect the coil or switch or what?

Is it worth while to replace coil or switch?

It's the ignition module. What is the model and type number? It will say "type-1" after the serial number.
Customer: replied 7 years ago.

I don't see the type.

It's a Poulan Woodsman 2150.

Eng. Family: TPWO42ub24RA:EM

Eng. Disp. 36cc

The part number isNNN-NN-NNNNand can be purchased from a Poulan dealer or see link 2150

I forgot to mention 1 thing, setting the air gap between flywheel magnet and the new module. Before you tighten the module insert a 0.10 feeler gauge or match pack cover in front of the module and then turn the flywheel until the magnets draw the module to it and tighten module and remove gauge. You don't want them to hit .
Customer: replied 6 years ago.
I installed the new ignition module and the saw still refuses to run while hot.
Does it quit running or won't restart if shut off?
Customer: replied 6 years ago.
It dies after cutting a couple of small logs and won't restart.
