Catching, Shredding or Breaking thread, and bobbin case vibration generally means that at SOME point along the trail, there is a burr or rough edge.... ensure...

Try a new needle first, this alone is the first thing to do, and a major cause of issues

Seems likely to be a burr is causing the problem
Remove Needleplate and check for needle strikes
Remove bobbin Case and inspect for same, or rough spots

For Overlocker/Serger, check the tip of each looper for any burr

Check the tip of the Hook, often has a rough point from needle hitting it as it spins to catch thread (may also cause ‘clicking’ and thread shredding)

Fine emery board will polish mild issues smooth
A light finger touch around the region is the best guide

You can also tease out a QTip/Cotton bud etc to be a little fluffy, then trace all over the metal and plastic regions and the bobbin case… it will likely catch and show you where the burr is

Burrs and needlestrikes are the reason for thread and fabrics snagging, and bobbin case vibration, so it is also likely to be on the needleplate near the hole

If you tend to pull the work rather than allowing the feed to do the work, it can deflect the needle and cause a strike, then a score, so avoid 'helping' the feed
