I have messed up my bobbin tension big time. I don't know

Customer Question

I have messed up my bobbin tension big time. I don't know where to start to adjust it correctly..... want to put my top tension on 4-5 and so am wondering....completely remove screw and begin from scratch? have spent hours just going around and around with the issue
JA: I'll do all I can to help. How long have you been dealing with this?
Customer: Well it was fine when I left for an extended trip...gone June-early Sept. now the thread is a mess underside of top threads... Got it fixed once, did a small project with a different foot and now it is back to a mess.
JA: Do you plan on doing the work yourself?
Customer: Well, to be honest I would like to be able to care for my own machine..actually considered taking a class on line if available. Mostly I just want it fixed.
JA: Anything else we should know to help you best?
Customer: any suggestions is appreciated
