Hi I have a Pfaff hobby 1132 sewing machine and it will not sew zig zag stitch. It seems as though a spring may be missing maybe.Answer Summary
This would not be a spring....it is a linkage that has frozen or disconnected. DO NOT ATTEMPT TO REPAIR.There have been way too many sewing machines that crossed my desk that someone "fixed" that are now very large paper weights.

VerifiedHi,this is Russ, I'll be helping you with your problem today. THANKS! This would not be a spring....it is a linkage that has frozen or disconnected. DO NOT ATTEMPT TO REPAIR. There have been way too many sewing machines that crossed my desk that someone "fixed" that are now very large paper weights. PLEASE take it to a good sewing machine repair person so you do not end up having to discard an easily repairable machine.
