Customer Question
My partner and I...

My partner and I bought our house 19 years ago. we were married 3 years ago, I have not changed my surname. we live in Scotland. How do I change my Miss to Mrs on the title deeds of the house?

Lawyer's Assistant: What state are you in? It matters because laws vary by location.

We live in Scotland

Lawyer's Assistant: Has anything been filed or reported?

We have done nothing as we are not sure how to go about changing our marital status

Lawyer's Assistant: Anything else you want the lawyer to know before I connect you?

Do we have to change this on land registry also?
