Why do you want to do that?

Customer: replied 8 months ago.
It is a Scottish will. I live in England. Why is it relevant why I want to do it? I am wondering if it is possible and for how long and under what terms?
Expert:  JGM replied 8 months ago.

If you are an executor you have a duty to wind up the estate within a reasonable time for the benefit of the beneficiaries. If you are sole beneficiary it probably doesn't matter. However, the background is important so that your question can be answered with your specific circumstances in mind, hence my question to you as to why you would want to do that.
