We live on an unadopted Road and only recently managed to

Customer Question

We live on an unadopted Road and only recently managed to get legal proof of Ownership but they refuse to accept - or reject- the fact. The road surface is badly needing repairs and we took the Council to the Ombudsman under the Roaads(Scotland) Act Section ll. We lost, as Ombudsman found in the Council's favour.
JA: Because laws vary from state to state, could you tell me what state is this in?
Customer: Is there any way the Owners of the road surface, solum and ditches can be made to repair the road? This is in Argyll and Bute, Scotland
JA: Have you talked to a lawyer yet?
Customer: Not yet
JA: Anything else you think the lawyer should know?
Customer: The present Owners purchased the land in 2014 from Owners who had previously denied Ownership

Why do you think the council should do the repairs? Can you explain your situation a little more?
