Customer Question

Pleaded guilty by post of doing 96 in a 70 zone. A1 in Haddington, Scotland. Now received a letter stating the case is being continued in order for me to personally appear at edinburgh JP court 15th September.
Have got 3 points currently from 2013. 6 expired points from 2011 and 2012.
Why would they want me to appear now after it being optional to attend court in the first instance?
Would you advise me having legal representation present with me?

Sorry for the delay. Are you able to fund representation?
