After fixing what the Code reader indicated was the problem,the Engine light came back on.

No stalling We checked to see what else and there wasn't any other issues.

Hi Bobby! Nice to meet you! I'm sorry to hear you are having this problem. I know this can be frustrating. May I have the "p-code" that you are working on?

If you are working on a single-cylinder misfire code, then there are a few different things that can cause this. If you have already replaced the spark plug, then next, the ignition coil and the fuel injector will need to be looked into. The ignition coil is built into the top cover. If the ignition coil does not solve the problem, next check the injector. With the engine running, remove the electrical connector to the affected cylinder's injector. The engine should respond. If not, inspect the electrical connector and wire harness to the injector for any loose, broken or damaged wires. If no problems are found, replace the injector. If the injector checks ok, then ultimately, a cylinder compression test will need to be done. More commonly here will be the ignition coil. Due to the setup, they are fairly common fail items.
