I am sorry you are having this issue.
I understand that the vehicle is stuck in neutral.
Is your Saturn a manual or automatic transmission?
Ok, sorry for the wait. Open the hood and look in the engine compartment. On the drivers side about 2 feet from the edge of the vehicle you should see some cables attached to the top of the transmission. If you have someone that is there with you, have them move the shifter and see if the cables move. I have attached a picture with writing on it to help.
Ok. Well sorry to tell you. Sounds like internal transmission issues. Looks like it is time to have it towed to a shop. I am sorry, I wish I had better news.
