Hazard flasher doesn't work...where should I look?
JA: What is the model/year of your Saturn?
Customer: 08 aura...
JA: Are you fixing your Aura yourself? What have you tried so far?
Customer: It's at the GM dealer, but he doesn't have a clue...
JA: Anything else you want the mechanic to know before I connect you?
Customer: that's it

Hello, my name is ***** ***** I'm here to help get your problem solved.

Do the turn signals turn on and not flash or not even turn on?

If lights don't even turn on that would mean turn signal switch has probably failed. If they turn on but don't flash that would mean the body control module has failed. This is pretty simple to figure out and test, I'd tell dealer you want a different mechanic on the job. If a person has no clue to what is causing problem there is no reason they should be employed as a mechanic at dealership. Let me know if you have more questions, thanks.

This guy says he couldn't figure out why voltage was not supplied to the switch to make the flashers work...all other circuits work, just nothing happens when the flasher button is pushed...I will take this reply to the service manager and let him handle it...i'll let you know...
