This condition sounds like it is related to the ignition switch or something along those lines. YES, I would recommend to take it to the same GM dealership that did this part work with the ignition switch. It may be related to the work that was done last time the vehicle was there. If not, they will at least have record of what was done in the past as this makes it easier for them to pinpoint/diagnose the problem and fix the issue.
