A humming noise similar to wheel bearing failure but checked

Customer Question

A humming noise similar to wheel bearing failure but checked OK. Noise increases when turning, not tire noise.
JA: How old are the tires? And have they been a problem in the past?
Customer: No, newer winter tires no problems
JA: What is the model/year of your Saturn?
Customer: 2005 Vue Redline
JA: Are you fixing your VUE yourself? What have you tried so far?
Customer: Had it into a service center, wheel bearings are good. Just fluid levels and lubes at home. Mech says tire noise but it 's getting louder
JA: Anything else you want the mechanic to know before I connect you?
Customer: don't think so... just looking for a few things to check/do before taking it in ...again

Does the noise become louder or stay the same when turning one way and become quieter when turning the opposite way at all?

Let me know so we can continue, thanks Pete.
