I replaced the block and need to know how to wire the starter. I wired it how I thought it should go and I get power but no crank
JA: When you turn the key, do you get a single loud click, or a series of rapid ones?
Customer: single loud click
JA: What is the make/model/year of your car?
Customer: 2007 saturn ion 2
JA: Are you fixing your Ion yourself? What have you tried so far?
Customer: I have checked the wiring diagram and ran the wires to the starter

do you have it wired this way?

David I found the problem. The wire from the starter to the alternator was burnt and melted apart. I just need to replace that wire.
