I have a L300 (2003) with a strong gas smell when engine is

I have a L300 (2003) with a strong gas smell when engine is running and shortly after shutdown.... dissipates and no smell next morning. check pressure tap (Schrader valve) at fuel line.... no leaks...V6 engine

is the smell under the hood? have you checked the lines?

I did check the line & could not find any leaks.... did a check by hand & visual flashlight & all..

checkt the pressure port & it was well sealed... pressed it got some spray , but sealed back after being released

where is the smell most prominent?

have you checked the injector o-rings? likely one has failed if its coming from the engine bay

that I have not... smell is from engine bay... I do get some in the passenger cabin at stop lights etc........ Makes sense. Had a bunch of emails about o2 sensors.... but did not make sense since odor is from engine bay.....That will be my next step
