Customer Question

I am removing the instrument panel in an 08saturn vue, I have taken all visible bolts out but it seems there is still something holing it at the top/center of the dash. Are there additional bolts at the top that are not visible and if so how do I get to them?

first off thank you for your quick response, second im sorry if my question was indirect, I meant the entire dash/instrument panel not the cluster as I am changing the heater core. I have the cluster, steering column, side and bottom bolts, consul, and pretty mush everything else out. But for some reason it seems to be hung up at the top.

Thank you again for a quick response, after reviewing the r&r procedure I have confirmed that all bolts are removed. As an ASE certified master mechanic myself I know from experience it is hard to fix something you cant see. I had a copy of the manual in hand prior to our conversation and I know they are not always accurate which is why I figured I would get a second opinion. I a 100% percent sure that all bolts are in fact removed (the one from the r&r procedure anyways) but after pulling as hard as I can it will only move out about 2 in from the firewall. I double checked the engine compartment and verified that the hvac housing nuts(2) are removed and all side bolts(6) are removed in addition to the lower bolts(5). I have exhausted myself with this thing hope you can help!!! :-)
