Customer Question

We have a 2004 Saturn L Series. It has 103,000 miles on it, it is in excellent condition, other than yesterday the transmision went out.Isn't that unusual for no more mileage than it has and not having any other problems with it. We bought it used. Thanks

Hello...welcome and thank you for using justanswer.

Yes ,this transmission usually less a lot more then 100K but it also depends of the drivers.

Did you know the person that you bought this car from ?

It is also unusually for this transmission to go out with out any warnings , the check engine light would come ON if there was any major problem with transmission.

Is the vehicle at any transmission shop ,what is the diagnostic/problem ?

Let me know.

Thank you .
