Is your Vue a 4 cylinder or V6 model?
Customer: replied 5 years ago.

It's a V-6

Customer: replied 5 years ago.
24 valve

Thank you for that information.

On the V6 model, there should be a dipstick for checking the transmission fluid level in the location shown in the picture below. Make sure to check fluid level with the engine running and the transmission shifter in the Park position.

Where's that located in the engine compartment
Expert:  Dave Nova replied 5 years ago.
With the hood open, it will be about in the middle left to right, a little closer to the drivers side. Look directly behind the radiator fans. Dipstick handle should be red.
Customer: replied 5 years ago.
Can't find it. I've heard that on some saturns the fluid level is self contained and you can't check it
Expert:  Dave Nova replied 5 years ago.
On the Saturn cars with the constantly variable transmission, there is no dipstick. These transmissions have a plug that is removed to check the fluid level. The plug is on the bottom of the transmission, near where the drivers side axle exits the transmission. Remove the center plug, the outer plug will drain the transmission.

I think that's something I better leave to the dealer who's taken over Saturn.
