saturn: sl2 wont start..push start it but i cant jump it..same thing

my saturn 94 SL2 wont start. It wont even crank over the battery is good and i can push start it but i cant jump it. there is an after market security key that got wet under the dash and the car is doing the same thing as if the security key was not in. it has aux power but no fire to the egniton. How would i disconect the security key it looks like it goes under the dash.

When these securty devices are installed, they typically cut the starter wire and place the device in between. That way the device completes the starter circuit. Look under your dash near the steering column. You should be able to see where the device is wired in. Look for the factory start wire it is yellow and pretty thick. Disconnect the device from both yellow wires and join the two yellow wires together.

how do i get to the yellow wires?

Look under the drivers side of the dash near the steering column. There may be a plastic panel under the drivers side of the dash that will need to be removed for access.
