Saturn: After changing rear brake shoes..l200

Resolved Question:

After changing rear brake shoes on 03 Saturn L200 both wheel cylinders started leaking emediatly. What did I do wrong?

Chances are that you have done nothing wrong.

What sometimes happens is that the wheel cylinders wear internally and have been in their outward position from brake shoe wear.

Now, You have new shoes installed that have forced the wheel cylinders to begin to work again from their fully compressed position and due to the internal wear inside of the cylinders, they begin leaking...


Don't worry, you did nothing wrong, you'll just need to replace the cylinders...
