I am sorry for the long wait

how does the car idle and drive other than the light being on ?

Customer: replied 1 year ago.
just fine, no change from before

with the car running just fine the odds of it being something that will cause the car to break down or to leave you stuck is very slim as if it was the car would not being running good at all or stalling

the odds are this is an emission EVAP code set from a possible bad gas cap or the computer is seeing it can not perform the EVAP test or a possible O2 sensor which may be going bad or is reading wrong

the true way to know is to have a Pep Boys or Auto Zone pull the current and history codes from the computer they will do this for free for you

but i agree 99 % of the time when the light is in there has to be a code set in the current code list or history code list

knowing what code numbers would really tell us 100 % what our issue is

but the bot***** *****ne is if its running good it should be fine for the trip
