bluish smoke from tail pipe @ startup and stopping and going. there is no noise from engine, has very good pick up going up a hill and on the highway smoke disappears when highway driving

Ok, on your engine, this is usually due to either a sticking crankcase ventilation check valve, faulty oil separator or worn valve seals and guides.

The first place to start is test the check valve for air flow. If not getting good flow thru it, then replace it.

If ok, then oil separator should be checked and finally dry and wet compression test for worn valve seals and guides.
