It looks like on your RV you physically have to plug a cord into a socket near the generator to allow the AC power into the RV.

Check in the compartment next to the generator and see if there is a cord you can plug into a socket.

Also check the breaker on the generator as well and make sure it is not tripped, some Onan's the side panel comes off and you will see a start stop switch and next to that on the side of a cover is a switch that is the breaker. Below is a wiring diagram for you to allow you to follow the path of voltage. You also might have a transfer switch so I would plug into shore power next and see what happens.

Hard for me to say why the generator is shutting down, make sure you have over 1/4 tank of fuel as when you get below that mark the generator will shut down so you do not run the engine out of fuel, inspect all the fuse lines on the generator make sure they are not cracked or brittle, if so the generator can suck air into the system and cause it to shut down.

OK So this is interesting, they made a class C Chalet and and a Class A Chalet this year, do you know which one you have?
