Good Morning ,
Did you check the breaker on the normal panel or the one on the generator ?
Id the hum outside like the compressor running , or do you hear the fan running inside ?
Yes there is one on the generator. this video shows where it is.
If this was tripped , your generator would run but wouldn't produce electricity .
If the compressor is running then its working , you want to check if the fan blower is bad or isn't being turned on .
I would need the model of your ac unit to help figure out the fan problem , is it controlled by a thermostat or are the controls on the ac unit ?
does it use a thermostat or does it have a a fan speed switch on the unit ?
Are your batteries good or are they dead ?
here is a link to download a manual with wiring diagrams,
do you have a voltmeter to check things and what is your skill level with electrical diagnosis?

can you send me a picture of the thermostat so i know what style we are checking , it could just be a thermostat or wiring problem
if you are getting electric from the generator then its not the breaker on the generator
are you getting power to your thermostats ?
Take a look at the manual on page 17 is a wiring diagram .
Initially I would say check voltage at the thermostat and make sure all wires are connected
The i would say check voltage at the unit for 12 volts and 120 volts ac power .
The units are controlled separately ,
so it would have to be a power problem if both are doing the same thing , your thermostat works off of 12 volt (as does the furnace) , but the AC unit is a 120 volt appliance
i need to runout , but i will be checking in throughout the day if you need more help
