I have an older motor home with a winegard entertainment center winegard select I purchased a dish playmate with a Wally

The dish has to have a direct connection to wally receiver.

Ok you need a direct line from dish to sat input. if you are hooking to cable input on side of trailer you need to switch box to cable to  get satellite signal.

Or to make it easier remove cable input from box and hook it sat. in on receiver.

You must have two cables coming in from the outside

You need to determined which cable is coming from outside cable hook up than put that cable  ON sat in on wally

Ok the cable coming from your playmate has to go directly to sat in port on wally. from the wally if it only Has HDMI hook up, if you split it  to another tv but both TVS will have too watch same program.
