That makes more sense as that is a 12 volt DC fridge with a compressor, I still feel you are going to need to see the dealer as this is brand new and if you have given it enough time to cool off it should be working. This is a brand new style Dometic is making as well so possible there is a failure or fault they are not even aware of yet, best to have the dealer take a look. I know that it can be a hassle but you do want all this documented.
