Hello, Annie
As of right now, I believe the issue is going to be no 12 volts from the battery getting to the fuse panel from either fuses blown inline at the battery, the fuse box has failed, or the converter has failed and the battery is not being charged. Since the generator will start, that would rule out a dead battery. You will need a tool that can test DC voltage to proceed if you do not see an obvious fuse failure.
Thank you for seeking us for help, I hope I provided what was needed. Press reply if you need to follow up. If you liked my answer please let me know so I can mark your question complete. Moose
Gotcha,
Your camper is not getting or is not able to use the 12 volt DC system. Most all things run off of DC except the outlets, AC, and TV.
That is correct, a voltmeter will be needed to diagnose, like this one https://www.dropbox.com/s/iagvvtdzm85h9c2/DVOM.png?dl=0
The converter is mounted behind or below the fuse/breaker panel. When you are plugged up, it charges the battery since most of the RV functions are on battery power even when plugged up.
An inverter is what changes 12 volts DC to 120 volts AC. Those are used when you are dry camping and using many batteries and solar panels.
We sure can, you can see the hours I work from my first reply.
You are welcome
Did you get a meter?
It's been a couple of days since you replied. I am going to mark your question complete for now. Reply as needed.
