Expert's Assistant chatimg
Customer: 2008 Adventurer........ When retracting the driver's side slide, it looks like a hydraulic hose got pinched between the frame and slide and poked a hole in the line. I need to remove the hose to get it replaced/repaired. I traced one end to find out where it ends but the other end seems to run over the frame and disappears under the floor. This is back by the rear wheels. Where does it go and how do I get to it?
JA: Besides this, what condition is the car in?
Customer: Good
JA: What is the make/model of your '08 RV?
Customer: Winnebago Adventurer
JA: Are you fixing your RV yourself? What have you tried so far?
Customer: Yes.
JA: Anything else you want the Mechanic to know before I connect you?
Customer: No

Posted by JustAnswer at customer's request) Hello. I would like to request the following Expert Service(s) from you: Live Phone Call.
Let me know if you need more information, or send me the service offer(s) so we can proceed.

Hi! My name is ***** ***** I can assist you with this. I may need some additional information from you first in order to give a complete answer.

Good morning! Sorry for the delay in someone getting to your question here! It has been crazy busy these last few days. I have an RV repair facility and work on these systems for a living. Please give me a few minutes to type up an answer here for you. And don't be alarmed if I don't get right back to you when you respond. We work on more than one question at a time here when it is busy like it is now. I may be on a phone chat with another customer and those last less than 5 minutes. Your patience is appreciated! And several of us live out west where we are dealing with fires all around us! Thanks! Randall

I would look into having a good local mobile tech come and see if he can just cut this and repair it with a portable crimper and put it back together. I do this in my shop with good results. Maybe at least take a look at this option first. For the hose routing you would need to call Winnebago Parts at(###) ###-####and ask them for some help. I hope this proves helpful here and points you in the right direction. Randall

I found the other end. Getting it out of there is another matter. Mobile rv tech won't come here. I'm on my own.

Then give Winnebago Parts a call and get some input from them. Or find another mobile tech.

Thanks. Bye.

You are most welcome! Please be safe out there.
