Hi, I'm Robert. Welcome to JustAnswer. I'm reviewing your question now and will post back with your reply momentarily.
What is the make and model of the fridge?
Thanks, Robert
OK
Lots to cover here, I need to wrap up with another RV owner and I will respond back.
Robert
IF you have 12 volts on the back of the fridge check the flue canister for a tripped thermo fuse, below is a link for a picture, you may have to remove a shield to see it, you should have continuity through it. IF you have continuity through it follow the red wire out of the thermo fuse and look for another fuse that looks like a dioide it is normally wrapped in heat shrink, you should also have conitnuity through it, see links below, if either one is bad the fridge will not turn on.

I am not sure what it would have tripped when you checked it, also you can check voltage to ground on each side of them. All they do is prevent voltage back to the board. The board will also have a DC fuse on it.
Robert
It should not matter if you bypass it it will work on gas or electric. 12 volts is needed to run the board so without any 12 volts the fridge is not going to work. You have to understand that is a safety and if you bypass it you run the risk of a fire if the fridge is actually overheating. You could bypass it for now and see if it is the problem if the fridge turns on it is your call if you want to run it or not, as a RV tech for 25 years I can not suggest you do that, I have run into other owners that have but I can not suggest it. Hope you understand that.

Let me know if you need more help, I am around daily and respond when I can.

All you need to do is cut it out and tie the wires together with a wire nut or something so it is out of the loop.
You would have to call a local RV store for that, I do not deal much with parts or part numbers, just troubleshooting. All you should need is the model and serial number of the fridge.
