Good morning! Thank you for bringing your question to us here at Just Answer. I apologize for the delay in someone getting to your question! Thank you for your patience. Sometimes we get overwhelmed with questions and some of our techs may be on vacation.

I have an RV repair facility and work on these systems for a living and I am sorry to hear that you are having issues with your leveling system! Most issues are caused by a tripped out shortstop breaker or blown fuse on the control module (if there is one) due to low battery voltage or batteries that are failing. By code the shortstop breakers have to be within 18" of the batteries. If you only have one battery this will be a continual problem. Any coach with power equipment with motors is supposed to have two batteries or more. Slide outs and leveling systems use a huge amount of power and one battery cannot keep up with the demand. Google "Shortstop breaker photo" and you can see what they look like. Manual reset versions have a small black button on the copper post end that you push in to reset it. Most will have a red cover over them. And in the shop one of the first things we do is to load test the batteries to be sure they are viable. Most places that sell batteries can do this for you. Just be sure that you mark the cables carefully first so that you get them back in the same way. A photo would be helpful here.
