Hi, I'm Robert. Welcome to JustAnswer. I'm reviewing your question now and will post back with your reply momentarily.
Sorry to hear you are having issues with your fridge.
Please allow me several mins to type a response.
Thanks. Robert
The small black box with the red led light on it is the high limit, when the light comes ON it locks the fridge out. This light can come on for low DC voltage or if you had an actual high temp condition. Make sure you do not smell ammonia or see a yellowish powder on the back of the fridge. To reset the sensor you will need a strong magnet, hold the magnet right above the light directly on the casing for the sensor for 15 seconds or so, inside is a reed switch that should reset. IF you get the light to go OFF and it comes back on after running the fridge you will need to get it looked at, if the light will not reset with the magnet you can tie the DC in and DC out wires together for testing ONLY, if the fridge turns on and the code goes away you know the sensor is faulty, you can NOT run the fridge with it bypassed or I can not tell you to do that. Click HERE for more info on the sensor it should help out.
IF you have more questions or concerns please feel free to contact me, I am around daily and respond WHEN I can.
