I have 1999 Newmar...

I have 1999 Newmar Dutch Star with a 8.3 Cummins, Allison Tranny. I turn the key on , all dash instruments work, but no power to Trans Pad and the engine will not turn over. Checked fuses and ignition switch. All good.

Consistent was running good last weekend, parked it and now it wont start

Yes, fixing it myself. Checked fuses, checked ignitoion switch, can see the ignition switch sending power to starter solenoid, but can not find the solenoid on the rig. Also no power going to the Transmission Pad on the dash

The engine also will not turn over as I stated above

IF the key pad is blank then the engine will not turn over.

The most likely cause is a blown fuse in the Allison control box. The box will say Allison on it and have 6 or bolts you have to remove to get the cover off, inside the box are some relays and mini fuses. Location will vary hard for me to say where that box is located because it moves each year, it could be in the dash under the shift pad outside in one of your storage compartments with other electrical components or even on the chassis frame rail, I have also seen them mounted above the engine under the engine access in the bedroom/closet area.

Need to find that box and check the fuses. Make sure you double check all the battery cable connections as well and look for an in-line fuse on a small gauge wire, older units used to have a fuse coming off the battery and that would be 18" from the battery.
