Hi! My name is ***** ***** I can assist you with this. I may need some additional information from you first in order to give a complete answer.
Sorry for the delay in someone getting to your question here! Not many of us are up and working on site that time of night. So this is working fine on LP mode and 120 VAC mode, but not on 12 VDC mode? If that is the case the two most common reasons are a bad 12 VDC heating element OR the lead that tells the engine is running (needed for the 12 VDC mode to work) isn't present. If you take your meter you can check both of those pretty easily. I am adding a link to the Dometic Service Manual which covers most of these 8000 series fridges. If you have a different version let me know. See the section on the 12 VDC operation. Please get back to me later if you need additional assistance on this as all follow ups are included in our one time fee. No time limit. I do have an RV repair shop and work on these for a living. http://bryantrv.com/docs2/docs/Service%20Manual,%20RM8xxx.pdf
Error codes are explained on page TD S56 of the manual. Hope this proves helpful. I am in and out today and will respond back as soon as my schedule allows.
Just checking back in to see if perhaps you missed my earlier responses to your question? I do have an RV repair shop and can assist you in sorting out the problem here and suggest a solution. If you need me to resend this information please let me know. Thanks!
As long as you can get to the heating element on the rear you can check for good voltage INTO the heating element. If so, then take one of the leads loose and ohm it out and see what it reads. Somewhere around 40 to 50 ohms as a rule. If none it is bad.
You are most welcome!
