Just had camping world replace old regulator with new one.

Customer Question
Just had camping world...

Just had camping world replace old regulator with new one. Brought 5th wheel home. Turned on propane to run furnace and warm up camper, but am getting a propane smell just inside the camper door. The propane alarm is in that area. Tested the alarm, it seems to work. It is not going off but can’t figure out the smell. Ran the furnace most of the afternoon. Hart works but still get that smell as I enter the camper. Do not smell anything around the tanks.

Mechanic's Assistant: Besides this, what condition is the car in?

Everything is fine.

Mechanic's Assistant: What is the model/year of your RV?

2013 Cedar Creek Silverback 5th wheel

Mechanic's Assistant: Are you fixing your RV yourself? What have you tried so far?

Had Camping World do the work.

Start by checking the hose connections at the tanks and at the regulator. Camping World doesn't have the best reputation on here! Lots of complaints. Let me know what you find and we can go from there. All follow ups are included in our one time fee. No time limit.

Seems they had left the oven knob on. No more problem. Thanks for your help. We checked the connections and they are good.

That would sure do it! And glad it didn't cause any fire or other issues. And you are most welcome!
