What kind of hot...

What kind of hot water tank was installed in the 2008 Keystone 3612 Fifth Wheel Toy Hauler Gas only AC and Gas?

Mechanic's Assistant: Has the vehicle turned into a gas hog? And how does it start -- same as usual?

No it hasn"t done that. It starts fine on propane. I was looking to put it o electric and there is no other switch inside or out for that. There is a breaker and fuse in the box for electric.

In the contract it says 3612

Mechanic's Assistant: Are you fixing your RV yourself? What have you tried so far?

I am tryiing to find the switch to turn on the electric since there is a breaker named water heater and a fuse that is named water heater. The Propane switch is on the control panel inside the unit and works fine.

Mechanic's Assistant: Anything else you want the mechanic to know before I connect you?

That is a suburban electric water heater and gas unit. On the suburbans there is a tiny switch located outside under the access panel in the lower left corner, that switch needs to be ON for it to work on electric. Many folks are unaware of that switch so I would check that switch and make sure it is on. It will take a good 30 mins for the water to get hot using the electric side and you can use them both at the same time for quicker recovery.
