I have a 2004...

I have a 2004 Fleetwood pace arrow 37c on shore power all my electrical works fine but with the generator I'm not getting enough power to run my ac units and it shows to be putting out 120 volts

Mechanic's Assistant: Have you checked all the fuses? Do you have a wiring diagram?

I have checked the fuses but i don't have a wiring diagram

Mechanic's Assistant: Are you fixing your Fleetwood yourself? What have you tried so far?

I am really just got started havnt tried much

Mechanic's Assistant: Anything else you want the mechanic to know before I connect you?

Did you check power out of both breakers on the set? How about at the automatic transfer switch? Those would be the two places to check first. A small digital multimeter would be needed for that. About $20 or so at most hardware stores and easy to use. I can direct you in that. All follow ups are included in our fee.

cant find the transfer switch and I have 120 out of each breaker

Silver or black box at the terminus of the short cord. About 10" square. Generator lead comes into it as well. Lid comes off for testing. Do you have a cord reel? Those can do this as well.
