Customer Question

we have a 2001 Journey DL with a 6 sp Allison tranny and a 330 Cat engine. We are experiencing an issue with take off and shifting. We checked the diagnostic and it said add oil. We did that and got ok. Then we checked the tranny diagnostics and got the following codes. 5597, 5517 and 2511. The panel says oil Ok but the dipstick looks overly full.
JA: When was your last oil change?
Customer: About 3000 miles ago.
JA: Are you fixing your Journey yourself? What have you tried so far?
Customer: All mtce has been done by a mechanic, other than adding the oil with this past notice.
JA: Anything else you want the mechanic to know before I connect you?
Customer: The problem initially went away with the addition of oil but after it sat overnight the problem started again.
